About the Gardenier Family Foundation

The Gardenier Family Foundation was established in loving memory of John Gardenier to bring joy, hope, and support to less fortunate children through the power of community giving. Now in its sixth year, the Foundation has become a cherished part of the Hoboken community and others across NJ and NY.

 

Uniting people each year in a shared mission to make the holiday season brighter for families in need.

What began with a heartfelt goal of collecting a few hundred toys has grown into a powerful annual tradition. In our first year, we proudly donated 400 toys.

 

By 2024, that number soared to over 15,000 toys, all gifted to the Toys for Tots organization, thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our supporters.

Every year, the Gardenier Family Foundation hosts a toy drive event in Hoboken, New Jersey, where the community gathers to view the collection and celebrate the spirit of giving.

 

The event not only honors John Gardenier’s legacy but also reminds us of the difference we can make when we come together.
